Just got back from a superb weekend in Swaledale, tired, full of cake and very happy.
Partner booked us both in for a weekend for my birthday, can honestly say it's one of the best presents I've had in years.
We did the 'Back to Basics' course on Saturday, followed by the 'Steep and Rocky' today, both led by the ever patient Nicola.
Funny, you get into so many bad riding habits over the years, but Nicola analysed our riding styles, showed us how to improve and left us both far more confident and happy with our riding than we had been before. There's a lot to take in, but it's all designed to help you get the most out of your riding without scaring yourself senseless.
Can't recommend the place highly enough - wonderful scenery and a warm, friendly atmosphere - Brenda's cake's not bad either 😀

Pleased you had such a good weekend even if it did get a tad breezy on Saturday but Sunday made up.
What an ace birthday present, I'm going wrong somewhere I got a very nice Lakeland bread box last year. (hopes wife doesn't see this)
