If I go from a 23mm rim to a 30mm rim can I expect to loose much tyre / frame clearance❓
I'm guessing it's NOT gonna be an extra 3.5mm either side as the bulbous part of the tyre stays pretty much the same, it's the clinched bead width that's getting wider.
