my rock shox reba race are dual air forks. they work great but ive noticed that nobody else in my local club ( all on various different forks ) seems to get the wooshing noise when you compress the forks hard? i guess its just normal due to them being dual air, but wanted to ask just in case they fall appart in 6 mnths time 😳
Its probably the oil flowing through the damper unit that swooshes. Mine make a little of that noise as they rebound. Perfectly normal I think.

although I did manage to inadvertently lock them out on Sunday, must have sucked all the oil through the piston somehow, apparently the best fork ive ever owned is not infalible 🙁 Normal plush service was resumed after leaving them for 5 min though 🙂
How old are they?
I tend to find they get a bvit vocal when they need an oil change.........
