Hi I have stuck some 700c wheels on my genesis altitude.
currently I have specialized borough XC's tyres on them supposedly 700 x45c.
Im not completely sure on road tyre size, but this tyres are definetly not 45mm wide more like 36-37mm wide.
Theres still abit of space and I could fit some bigger tyres. I dont want some thing too knobbly. I dont really want them for going through muddy field more like just a bit of off road bit of road in the summer.
I was looking at panaracer firecross but I think they might be too big/knobbly.
I notice chainreaction has some continental cyclo cross tyres in 700x42c.
but does anyone know if these are really 42mm wide?
I was thinking of some bonty XR 1.8. but maybe too big.
