[#3134579]

Well, the bike is. Took my trusty old commuter that was sad and forgotten in back of the garage and turned it into this. Hopefully (if rear hub holds out!) get me around first sw cx tomorrow.

Flipped Marys, odd Elixir calipers/levers and cheapo tyres from O-O. A spin round the park later and I quite like it. ๐Ÿ˜€

Mines ready for tomorrow.....only they've gone and cancelled it (double booked a country park!!!!)
Not sure the loss of half of my gears and the addition of tubs, new brakes and new bars will facilitate my entry to the middle echelons but we'll see next week.

Yes.....its on my bed.

Good Luck. Heavy, no gears, stupid bars. Are you hoping to be competitive or just making a statement!

I was hoping to take part and enjoy myself actually ๐Ÿ˜•

I can't afford/justify a cx bike so I thought this would do? Are you suggesting I shouldn't bother?

I ride mostly ss anyway and have ridden the odd cx ss before so I now what to expect. Yes it is heavy but it's not as if I would be anywhere near the front anyway. The bars are bloody comfy and work well like this - the frame is too long for drops.

Obviously you are a cx god sir!

I like the looks of that apart from the Cotic disc mount on the fork is on the front and looks odd.

Have fun ๐Ÿ™‚
