[Closed] cx license, on the day?

roped into doing a cx race in the londin league. do I need a licence. if so can I sign up on the day. can I use proper tyres, purgatory 2.3;-)

Yes. About 3 quid on top of entry. But allow time for extra form filling. Yes but purgatories will be so much slower than a cross tyre.

yeah I know but cant get them off without getting a hernia.

LL at Penshurst is a bit of an odd one. Slippery switch back descent with a hardpack track back to the top. With 2.3s you might grind to a halt on the muddy bits.

You shouldn't need to do anything more than pay and extra £3 over and above those with BC licenses.
Penshurst is a brutal one... Last time we went there was a cloudburst whilst on the M25, properly thought that we were going to die at one point when the car in front hit a huge puddle and it took about 2 seconds for the windscreen wipers to clear the water...
We might be there, depends how brave I'm feeling.
I'll be in KW kit.
