[#7757935]

I've just ordered my first CX bike for commuting, been commuting on a Viking XRR road bike which weighs as much as my Bucksaw so I've decided to upgrade.

Anyway, it comes with 160 discs but I've got some 180's kicking around that I'd like to use, is this a case of just buying a brake adaptor like on a MTB?

This is the bike I've ordered http://www.wiggle.co.uk/avanti-giro-ar-1-2016/

Why would you need 180s on a drop bar commuter bike?
Almost certainly the frame or forks won't be warranted to use 180s.

Because I ordered some 180's from Superstar for the Ti but I've decided to sell it instead so these are just lying around...

Turnerfan, it's a 20" size what Planet X call a large so yeah basically an XL. Ping me an email and I'll fire some photos across.
