Bars, seatposts - anything to worry about?

e.g. is a facemask a good idea to avoid breathing in any particles?

Will any sharp saw blade do it?

Any particular technique required?

Wear a mask, keep the blade & component damp. Use a fine tooth count (high tpi) blade, measure 4 times, cut once ๐Ÿ˜‰ Oh, and wear gloves.

Wrap tape around the area you are going to cut. Then mark up & cut through it. Mask is not optional.

Detailed instructions with pics on the Easton website

as everyone above has said, nice fine blade (high tpi), wear a mask, mark up using masking tape and you'll be fine.
