[Closed] crown race play.

Hi,

I have a new cane creek s8 and a 2nd hand set of forks. I just installed the crown race and it seemed to slip on more easily than i'm used to. On further inspection i can remove it by hand and it will turn with a very little force. The seating (flaired) part does seem a touch worn on the steerer tube however the race, despite turning, is not loose enough to have any play.

I'm obviously not keen on leaving it. I have heard that you can punch little dimples round the steerer tube but would like to avoid that if i can!

Would some form of loctite work? Maybe the 641 or something else?
