Is there such a thingy majiggy that lengthens the AC measurement. I want to go +20mm if poss.
You would need a new VERY thick crown race machining.
Or look for a headset with a higher lower stack height. Won't be 20mm though.
Why do you need it? What forks, frame etc?
Cane Creek will do you a +10 lower bearing cup. Helps my Fox clear the downtube on a 14" 456
APF
+20 crown race spacer wouldn't work
If you look at your steerer tube you'll notice its not 1 1/8" all the way. Its a bit fatter right at the base (less than 20mm IIRC) for the crown race to fit
I'd be looking at a fatter lower headset cup if possible, and maybe try making up some of the rest with a fatter front tyre if your rims are wide enough that fatter tyres won't make cornering worse
Cane Creek, Acros and Chris king make deeper crown races (king call them something else). I think the Acros one is 6mm's more than standard and is intended for use with one of their deeper (lower) headsets.
Unless you've got the right king,cc, or acros headset it'll not be simple or cheap, and even then you won't get twenty mill. If you've got a full sus you might want to look at those offset shock mount bushings to slacken your ha.
give the chaps at goldtec a ring, they'd make you one.
