Just looking over this area and was looking for suggestions for the definitive route to take. Mmo's would be wonderful if anyone has them, cheers all.

Dave, I'd not bother with Cross Fell, it's a carry from Tyne Head and the Wild Boar DH to Blencarn is better than the one to Kirkland at the other end

Me and Deejay (and probably others) have a plan to do this route or something similar in the near future.
