The bottom bracket on my Orange 5 is creaking and driving me nuts!
I've tried grease, copperslip, and PTFE tape. They seem to work but after a couple of miles (or the first climb) it starts creaking again.
I've just fitted a new Hope external bb and have the same problem.
Any tips or advice would be welcome.
Check your rear skewer.
+1 for greasing the rear quick release skewer

Some old fella with strange handlebars recommended the rear QR greasing last night for a creaking Turner. Early days but seems to have done the trick 🙂
Quick update. Fella with the strange bars was talking shite!
