A shiny new hope BB arrived today to replace the mego exo one that came with my fsa gravity light cranks.
I thought mega exo and ht2 were interchangeable but it seems i may be wrong- i cant slide the cranks in, and i dont want to force them/ hit with a rubber mallet in fear of knacking the BB.
The splined part of the axle goes in alright (where the left hand crank attaches) but as soon as the axle 'proper' gets the the bearing it gets stuck. It seems like the axle may be wider than the inner surface of the bearings.
Do i just need to give it a **** ? Or will i need different cranks?

I think hope do adapters/different BB's to run FSA cranks?
Edit: it looks like truvativ that need an apdater, sorry.
Hope do a GXP for truvatives but cant find the FSA one? I am sure my mate just put a hope BB in his though so?

The following day, I had to contact Hope about something else (which they were extremely helpful with). I mentioned the fact that the bottom bracket had been tight and they advised me that Hope BB's and FSA cranks are not compatible!
