Got a Deore HT2 crank set, after changing the chain rings the other day I've managed to strip the head on one of the bolts. Any idea where I can get a replacement....
Not happy throwing out good cranks with a new chain ring for the same of one little bolt....

You should be able to take the remaining good one to any fasteners supplier who will match them up with something similar. They're just bolts, nothing fancy about them
My XTs dont have std shimano bolts.
I tried with standard bolts on an XT crank but as you tighten the bolt the head was pushing against the side of the recess hole. The original bolts have a tapered head to avoid this.
I got Shimano ones from UK bike store for £1.69 each. The part you need to look for is Shimano FC 6600 / FC 6603 crank clamp bolt M6 x 19 mm. Also look on Tasty Nuts.
