I know it will strike accord with other people finding themselves on a bike that's just plain fun to ride, last night was second proper ride out on my Cove Stiffee and despite its detractors saying it's too stiff in the back end, what a blast.....no stiffer than an On One 456' felt lighter, more nimble, climbed better ie no wheelying on really steep bits despite not winding forks down. On descents it came alive and I even managed to do some decent manuals on it that for the life of me I struggled to on the On One. Oh yeah and nothing new fitted on it bar headset and Thomson layback post, just straight swap of forks and kit. Even made the Revs come to life and work properly....
This ones for keeps..... ๐Ÿ˜›

Stiffee's are fantastic. I had one between 99 and 2005 and it's the best hardtail I've ridden, I was very sad when I broke it (used for XC 24hr events as well as DH runs), but alas I moved on to other things. I still want another one for hardtail fun riding, but I can't justify the expense after the Spitfire.
