Can you convert 15mm thru axles to 9mm? I'm sure I read somewhere that there's a step down ket but I can't find one anywhere.

Why would you? Stiffer and safer and in sme cases quicker to use. Why would you go backwards?

Maybe he already has a 15mm hub, and a 9mm fork kicking around?
To answer the question - probably, depends on what hub it is

I'm selling the wheels, buyer has 9mm forks. Hubs are easton.

Exposure did a converter for the Revo hub. You can probably buy it somewhere.

Interested in this one as I have some Easton hub wheels. Think the ones I have you need to buy a different axle.
