I swear by my concept two as a cross trainer for mountain biking. Ok it will only take you so far (quite far actually) - but if you cant get out on the trails as often as you wish
this is a great fitness tool.

Does anyone agree.

Me neither. Tried it through one winter. 2 or 3 sessions a week at the gym. Definitely improved my (indoor) rowing - but didn't feel much benefit on the bike at all. Hard to judge how much of a biffer I'd have been if I hadn't been on the rower or doing anything at all. Did much better this year getting proper lights and continuing to ride in the dark.
