[#372560]

any recommendations for some elbow pads?

Must be as comfy as dipping your arm between Gisele Bundchen's upper thighs and suitably protective for the odd off in the mountains.

Last two offs I have sustained damage only to my elbows (I reckon its a carry-over from 12 years as a hockey goalie: diving and landing on my arms 100 times a week). Going to be riding in the pyrenees in May and want something with a bit of protection, but can be worn all day in the heat without losing pints of sweat.

money not really an issue - but no gold plated ones eh.

I beg to differ. My right elbow is all scab and scar and my arc of motion is limited. Its my ****ing arm too so my manliness is suffering TFU.

Use the other arm but lie on it first to make it numb. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I use the BrandX ones from CRC. I wear them most of the time now, simply 'cos I don't know I've got them on ('til I need them).

I've found Dainese 3X very good. Reasonable balance between decent protection and comfort. Have worn 'em overseas in roasting hot weather and they're not too sweaty-betty.
