Eldest_oab has last generation XT brakes, full bleed before Christmas. Edit: it is -6 here, been sub zero since Friday, including ride yesterday.
Bike put away yesterday in shed after Ae ride, mucky but dry.
Front brake now 'pumped up' , binding on and lever not returning. I assumed ice, it's been inside for three hours now and no change.... Caliper looks clean.
Thoughts...? I'm wondering muck/seized caliper due to muck?
My rear was playing up a bit at Mugdock this morning, lever travel becoming next to zero. Temp was minus 6, brakes are a month old. It settled after half an hour of use so I put it down to temperatures, as I have often had this with most generations of XT over the years
