I have an Alpkit MytiMug 650 - great for bike-packing, but I tend to just use instant coffee. I recently saw this coffee press for MSR Reactors.
Wondering if anyone knows if there is something similar for Alpkit-sized mugs, or even if this would work?
Not a press, but I've just done a week long trip in the Alps and bought one of these:
http://www.goodcookshop.com/finum-brewing-basket-large
Made perfect brews for 3 of us and it's so easy to use I'm using it at home instead of the usual bodum press. Edit- I think it's cheaper on Amazon btw.
MSR Windboiler Coffee Press kit might work: http://www.cascadedesigns.com/msr/stoves/stove-systems/windburner-coffee-press-kit/product
Just checked with the caliper, the internal diameter of the MSR Windboiler is 9.5cm.
Any standard cafetiere press will work. Its a bit of a faff mind you as the Alpkit mug doesn't have a pouring lip
Second the Finium baskets! MSR sell a branded version for nearly 3 times as much

Not in a 650 it won't. The idea is too big. Works fine in a 400 though
I use an outline filter holder for my.coffee fix
I still prefer an Aeropress, though. A bit of weight/size penalty, but coffee is sooo much better!
