Looking to arrange a 3/4 day break to Coed y Brenin with my riding buddies, anyone have any suggestions/recommendations for somewhere. Ideally within riding distance so we can partake in the evening entertainment aswell ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thanks

Cae Gwyn farm for camping and /or B&B.

Not far to ride to CYB , Grab a lift to local pub and the landlord runs you back to the b&b

Not sure if it's within riding distance, but 'Old Skool MTB' is awesome if you can get it.

We stayed in one of these. Clean and smart and couple of miles from trail centre, just the job.

+1 for old Skool house, stayed a while back and will be there again in a couple of weeks. You can ride off road to CYB and join the trails mid point. Also stayed at the pub at Tyn y groes, it's basic but across the road from the trails ( part way along big dug, not the centre). Food is as basic as a com but beer is good. Old skool is much better and run by a great couple, good food take your own beer to save the walk to the pub.

Cae Gwyn is great - choice of bunkhouse or B&B - I'm stopping there in the summer for a night on a Tripster tour and really looking forward to it.

Another one for Cae Gwyn

There's B&B with continental Bkfst
A bunkhouse that sleeps a fair few
And fields for camping

There's bike storage. Take your own chain and padlock.
We had a couple of nights there last autumn and on the 3rd day we left for the trail centre and returned about 3, got showered and had a brew with the owners and left, we asked if we could do this of course and didn't just take the piss, we've stayed about a dozen times over the past few years.

Not stayed at the Old School yet thou, I'd like to but can't bloody get in
