Not at all sure about the colour scheme..
Looks cheap IMO. That different color rear ๐Ÿ™„

People spending 6K on a neon Santa Cruz would probably disagree...

Maybe they've seen the Yeti and Lapierre warranty threads so thought it best to just make it look crap from the start.

If it is cheap enough and not too heavy I might be tempted as in the market to build 650b full susser over winter.

The lines of the bike are actually pretty nice. Colours obviously chosen in the dark though.

That's an XL frame by the looks of it, so it looks like a gate.

It's also basically the original nukeproof mega, with bigger wheels and a new shock position.

I actually love the look of the 29er in blue though.

Well at least it'd match all the latest enduro gear in that colour scheme ๐Ÿ˜†

I'd admit, the colour scheme is ****ing though....it's like one of those boy racer cars with mismatching bodywork.

Doubt that'll be the final colour scheme so I dunno why its the focus of the comments ๐Ÿ˜• ...guess it gets folk talking so job done ๐Ÿ™‚

Be better/nice to see a few details like geometry or likely release date to see whether its worth holding out for

Can't see it being any more or less than the 29er so a good entry into the world of 650b or full sus I suppose.
But yeah boy racer, even my daughters dolls bike has a better colour scheme. They really need to look at what the big boyz are using in colour schemes these days.
Obviously it could be a 'conversation maker' or they could actually be serious, some more pics on facebook which make it look a bit nicer.

I think they look awesome in Roobarb and Custard with decals applied. Great work by the team there. I left at the end of June.

Roobarb and Custard

That looks great I reckon, bit of fun. Maybe a bit odd on the first pic but the decals make it.

I'll never understand Yorkshire folk (and I've been going out with a Yorkshire girl for years).

I hope they do one in black. I like black.

Your mate needs a better syrup. That ones a bit too 'jazz club' for 2014. Nice.

Hey Brant, I know you left at end of June but can you tell me whether 650b version will have same anti-squat characteristics as 29er? I'm weighing up whether to purchase a Spitfire or hold out for Codeine 650b.

Definitely a marmite thing, although I can understand their want of a colour scheme that stands out. Personally I would be interested if it came in something less lurid and 'ard' looking ๐Ÿ™‚

A frame + shock + fork deal would be nice.

Good to see it has a 31.6 seat post so my reverb from my c456 will fit.

I couldn't call what it has, hasn't or will have as I'm not there any more. Sorry.

Rhubarb, custard and Marmite! That sounds grim.

OK, that looks a lot better with the big frame panel sticker... But the other thing that makes it look better is no forks, it'll look bad again as soon as you add black or white.

Those rhubarb and custard colours look gash but I'd actually be interested in this. Especially if it were available in raw or neon orange.

I think that looks really nice, if my KTM doesn't work out, I'll look at one of these!

It's not mine I got the picture from their instagram. It's a shame the brantman can no longer give us details. They need a full time stw guy that we can torment.

Last heard from 2 months ago

Can't imagine we'll see these frames anytime soon...they're probably busy sorting the 'quality issue' with the 29er batch of codeines
