As above, im looking to do a half or full day of mtb coaching. There seems to be a lot of companies offering similar services, so does anyone have any recommendations or companies to avoid? Im looking for 1 to 1 coaching, I'm an intermediate level rider wanting to improve general trail speed, cornering and confidence on steep tracks. Based in Bucks, but Surrey Hills is probably my ideal type of terrain locally. Professionalism is a big deal for me too, as i suppose it is for most people, so im happy to pay a premium to ensure the best experience.
Any thoughts?
If Jedi doesn't work, British Cycling have a search tool for coaches - https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/coachingdirectory?filter%5Bcoach%5D%5Btype%5D=Mountain+Bike&filter%5Bcoach%5D%5Bdistance%5D=20&filter%5Bcoach%5D%5Bpostcode%5D=Buckinghamshire&filter%5Bcoach%5D%5Bresult_type%5D=list
Although no idea how you contact people if they don't leave details.
Make the trip to see Jedi - UK Bike Skills.
Ah was aboit to ask that actually, i take it jedi is the person who runs uk bike skills. Sweet, thanks
+1 jedi, nicest guy you'll meet and great coffee too ๐ and of course the coaching is excellent too. My course was probably over 10 years ago now, but I still remember it and use what I was taught when I'm riding.
Go see Jedi. Afterwards, come back here and say "ah, now I know why they call him Jedi". Everyone else does.
Once you said you were willing to pay for a premium service, there isn't anyone else worth considering.
+ 1 for Jedi, I've been twice, but not for a while now, I might ask for a return trip for my birthday ๐
Irons out basic errors quickly and got me jumping!
It's always good to see riders again 👊ย
