I've got a few small items drawn up that I need machining, nothing too complex but one has a couple of hex key slots in it which seems to be a problem for the local workshops.
So I need somewhere that can deal with a small order of some fairly small parts! Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks
These are a couple I use round this way

Marbridge in Tamworth are good.
Hex slots ? They would probably need broaching, so you'll likely have to pay for a tool.
eoin - we at BETD may be able to help. Call Rob Lewis Tuesday and see what he says. Not promising anything ok.
Blane precision engineering in Killern are very good

Also does it need hex key slots? A flat slot for a screwdriver is an awful lot easier to make especially if you are prototyping
was going to say not many engineering firms want to broach these days but if you look up cnc with rotary broaching you will find a hole host of companies who will do it on a cnc for you expect to pay by the hour
forgot to add some companies will dril the hex corners then clear the centre with a larger drill and mill the hex walls in
