As ever, when I came to change my cleats (eggbeaters), two of the four bolts were rusted in, allen bolt rounded off, and I had to drill them out. Yes, I did grease them before they went in. I know the procedure well by now, but it's a bit of a pain.

I've decided to try stainless steel bolts this time. I found these on ebay:
M5 x 12 STAINLESS COUNTERSUNK ALLEN BOLTS 20Pk
Item No. 150304017425

They are a perfect fit for the eggbeaters. 10mm might do other makes of cleat.

I don't know this guy, and am not on any commission, but just thought there might be people out there who would like a good source of SS cleat bolts.

Just beware - if they do get seized in you will have a heck of a job drilling them out compared to the mild steel ones.
