Starting a small scale bike project for a sibling, having bought a frame and decals I would like to know what I should do in the way of protecting the stickers that are stuck on. After looking at clear coating as an option, there seem to be a surprising amount of different types of clear coat paint. Would it be ok to use 'Automotive' clear coat paint?

should be okay.
I'd probably go for the PU lacquer they have for wheels as it's a bit more durable.
