Anyone tried them?
Had a few pairs and they've been great, I'll probably get some more when mine need replacing.
Got them on both bikes, Shimano 525 and some xt775 and they are fine, one thing I did notice though was that out of four pairs 2 pairs had different depth friction material on them, poor quality control, but then It's 4 pairs for less than doing one bike with genuine pads.
2 pairs for under a tenner
its worth a go
cheers
Yep, cheap and suprisingly good, cant really tell the difference on the bike between them and premium priced pads, plus they havent fallen apart
Use them out in the Alps and they work well.
avid code 5 brakes, am i right in thinking that avid juicy 5 are the same pads??
might grab a set as i need fr and rr set and might try these out
thanks
cheap and decent enough! sintered squeel the first few pulls but otherwise very good for the coin!!
Had Clarks organics on my rockhopper in Juicy guise, the thing is ... the friction material collapsed after about 2months of moderate use, and boy do they scream when using brakes(1 ride per week max). Found that Kevlar Superstars were much much better and no noise issues at all.
