I'll be in a cast for 4 to 6 weeks following surgery on my thumb last Tuesday. Had to have my thumb bone plated and everything put back in place under general anaesthetic, really knocked me for six, been exhausted and feeling pretty low all week since the op.
Feeling much better today though and a lot more positive!
