Is it possible to replace just the chuffed bearings in an X-Type BB? Any tips on suppliers and procedure gratefully recieved!

I believe this is possible for Shimano external BBs. You just need to (very) carefully peel away the rubber seal on the outside of the bearing, knock the old bearing out and insert the replacement, replace the seal and re-fit.

I would assume the process is similar to X-Type. Not sure of the bearing sizes though...

BTW: I haven't done this yet so this is all theoretical!
