Ive Just sold my command post with the intention of going for the 2011 reverb from bike componenets.de but ive now found they only have the 31.6 version 🙁

Can anyone find me a 2011 30.9 around the £170 mark?

Thanks

I think all the bargains are gone I ordered one from germany a week ago for £170 paid and was looking forward to getting my mits on it only to get an email 5 days later telling me sorry they are out of stock .

Gutted, think I may get the giant dropper post instead in the spring

If you're going to spend £170 on a seatpost you may as well spend £240 and get a 2012 model from a UK supplier?

Im sure ive read this on here...The MMX version is the same as the standard with the additional mmx mount which can be removed...Is that correct?

Well if you are willing to pay £170 for a seat post, the extra 70 quid isn't gonna break the bank? 😀

So what's the best dropper post out there just now? I'm looking to get one soon. About 3 to 4 inches travel max is all I need.

Inclined to say NO

Emailed rockshox about this months back and they said the clamp was not designed to be used seperately and basically said no, don't do it.

I bought this one.

Matchmaker clamp just unscrews.

Amazed if that's the case, the Reverb just uses a standard Rock Shox XLoc lever. The Matchmacker clamp just bolts through it.

I've been using an MMX one since the launch - it's identical in every way to the one on my wife's bike which is a non MMX one.

got on on my bike fits just fine, as its the same clamp with a extra bolt you can remove, the normal type came with a little alu block to make the gap smaller so morns wouldn't snap their carbon bars if they over tightens the clamp, but its the same clamp, in short fits just fine, pic of what i mean below, mmx clamp comes with out little black thing in the middle, which you wont need if you're not ham fisted
