Not really up for paying for fancy bike branded stuff. What would you recommend?
Poundland do a "tyre black" that's just a silicone spray. You guessed it, it's a pound.
Fork Juice is only about £7 isn't it? Lasts ages.
WD40 do one, halfords sell it in WD40 sized cans for about £5 but it's probably in most hardware shops too.

Not really up for buying new forks after they got ruined by non bike branded, non fancy stuff.
A smear of 80 or 90 wt gear oil has served me well for years. A 500ml bottle will see me out .....

Yeah I hate it when my clothes get ruined by using non branded washing powder. I had to buy a whole new wardrobe when I used sainsburys own brand.
I've used fork juice, it works, I've recently been using Halfords silicone spray, it also works and is half the price.
Autoglym
Cheers, the Halfords stuff it is.
