The Blue Grooves on my FSR are getting a bit worn, the wife's bike is getting a bit slip-slidey and the rubber on my Inbred is balder than me. So, I need 6 winter tyres.

Any good deals on at the moment?

Bleedin' hell, it's still August FFS! 😕

When the mud does come though, get the Bonty Mud X's, they're awesome. Bit slow whilst the ground still has any kind of firmness to it though and they will wear quickly, but when it's like the Somme outside they are in their element.

Bought some faster tyres for my good wheels for the 'summer'. I've been out on them twice, while the mud tyres have been used lots...

maxxis swamp-things, pumped up surprisingly hard as they rely on the big square nobbles for grip rather than surface area so there's less of a trade off in grip for better rolling resistance .
