LiPo - lithium polymer
I'd have thought any 3.7V battery would do, with the appropriate connector obviously. You could make up a battery pack from the Trustfire batteries from DX pretty cheaply

you need a LiPo 7.4v 1250mAH with the fitting (3hr battery).
im currently looking for one too as mine has gone tits.
im looking tonight online so if i find anything then i'll post back here

Huxley, great find. I used to use them for my RC cars. Good battery.

The more MAH the better.

how do you then go about fitting the right connector? any suggestions as that battery is waay cheaper than the £28 ayup + £11 postage from oz
