[Closed] Charger 2 RC, should it lock out fully?

or is it just slow at maximum damping? (it's not even that slow right enough).

it's just had a bleed, simple enough. so if it's still not locking out fully, and it's meant to, that'd mean serviceing the compression part of damper.

i've seen a vid of a guy getting into there. it looks do-able.

can anyone enlighten me?

No, the RC2 is the one that works. The RCT3 is the one with lock out. To achieve lock out, it compromises the rest of the compression circuit.

Do you mean it’s an RC or an RC2?

Either way they don’t fully lockout. Even the RCT3 doesn’t fully lockout - just makes it quite a bit slower on compression.

In comparison I just built a bike up with a Recon Gold RL for my nephew and when you turn that to lock it goes almost fully rigid!

yes a MoCo damper does fully lock out.

anyway yes it's a Charger 2 RC, not RC2.

so that's fine, i just wanted to check it wasn't knackered.

thanks fellas

Sorry, I assumed you meant RC2. I'm not familiar with the non bladder charger dampers.

The one you're talking about is with the spring backed IFP? Bit like the basic grip damper?

Charger 2 RC is a bladder damper - the ifp one was in the Revelation Charger RC and now in the Pike Select.
