I've a pike currently fitted with a charger 2.1 RC damper. The bike it is one gets used for a mix of trail and XC racing. For the racing I'd quite like a lockout option. The ideal would probably be a 120mm SID ultimate but I've seen mixed reviews of the damper in that for non-race use. I've come across the RCT3 2.1 kit which will fit the pike I already have which appears to have a crown mounted 3 position lock with option of a remote. Can anyone comment of how locked the firmest position goes please. Have I understood correctly that it can be fitted with a remote.

That would probably be enough. A little give I'd be fine with, it's the bob that cost energy.
