I am considering changing from 11-25 cassette on my 9 speed triple Shimano 105-geared road bike to a 11-28, to make the hills a little easier. Would it be prudent to add another link when fitting a new chain at the same time ?
I have been advised the mech.will cope with a 28 ...

Try it and see, may already be long enough.
