First week July is later than I thought it would be.

we were out there last week in june in 2010 and it looked like they were getting the lift ready

we would like to ride the valorcine d/h course using the lift rather than the Le RTour and riding/train across

As Shandy says last year it was one of the later lifts to open, early July. The DH course on Vallorcine is not the main attraction of the valley mind.
