I'm about to renovate a mates bike & it needs a new drivetrain.
Seen a cheap Truvativ chainset on CRC, how do i find out what length BB it needs?
It's been so long since i did this i can't remember!

Hi there.
Truvativ ST sets usually need a 113mm axle, so you just need to measure the 68 or 73mm shell and verify they are the usual British threads. Wiggle used to sell the Truvativ BB with a 2.5mm spacer so it can fit either shell.

Ta Paul.
From a casual inspection it's the 68mm shell, seen some Shimano square taper BB's for £7.99 and the chainset for £15 from CRC so should be a nice. cheap retro fit 🙂
