I snapped a chain by getting it pulled into the wheel behind the cassette, I was going pretty fast and its lost a set of link plates so a lot of force must have gone through it, do you reckon I should just replace it after something like that? Makes me think other links could be weakened too.

And I'd keep an eye on the wheel too - be prepared for a couple of spoke failures soon.

Hehe - several spokes sheared through when it happened! It's my gf's bike too. I'm in trouble 😉
