Keep dropping the chain on my Morf. Today it resulted in an epic OTB / Judo roll combo. Think a chain guide / chain retention device is on the cards. Are they all much of a muchness or are some a lot better than others? Advice, recommendations and opinions sought.

If it's got ISCG then these tiny wee 2-bolt ones are ace- basically they're just enough, in just the right place so they don't need to bully it, they just nudge it, and they're so easy to set up. I have a Shovel one but there are others that are basically the same.

I asked about a cheap one for my 1x9 commuter without ISCG and bought a Pinnacle Hoy which is identical to the Superstar XCR Chainkeeper but cheaper, although Evans sold out now. I went for this one because it prevents the chain falling either side of the chainring whereas some only prevent it falling inwards.

Thanks for the responses. The Morf has ISCG (the old type) so would it be best getting something that uses that?

Northwind - Is shovel the brand, if so I’ll get my google-fu on?

CRC have some dual ring E13 chain guides on sale for under £20 at the moment , would probably work on a single ring OK too (maybe change the roller?)
