gaaah, stupid aluminum nipples!
popped another on one weds night ride (after having popped one 2 weeks ago on club run), so go to replace it, wheel off, tyre off, rimtape off, nipple remnants out, new nipple in, tension, true, rimtape on, tyre on, inflate, replace in bike and PIIIINNNNNG! as another one goes while I'm just sat there looking at it 👿
I'm just gonna rebuild it with brass ones tomorrow as after looking a bit closer at least a dozen are about to go, furry and corroded from winter spray by the looks of it, only took two winters 🙄
