I have some engineers at work. They have a degreasing bath tank type thing. My chain is dirty.

Will sticking my chain in the degreasing bath tank type thing be good or bad for it?

cool, i wondered whether it might be a bit too strong, sure i read something somewhere about stripping out the oil/grease from deep inside...

it will do that for sure but its simple enough to relube, I usually do it towards the summer when dry lubes start to make sense

I have a tank in my shed purely for chains and drive train parts. I use Deb Jizer degreaser and it works a treat. You should wash the de greaser off thoroughly with hot water and then dry the parts before applying fresh lube

I pay for enough compressors so I hope so!
