This is a cool idea: http://www.chaincondom.com/index.html
However it isn't available here yet, does anybody know of anything similar or even better something they have ghettoed themselves?
could they not have branded it as anything else other than a sexual prophlaxis?
Sorry, your product makes me think of wrongness, for that reason, im out.
Silly name, prob pointless for MTB after a ride but a clean Road bitke etc I can see the appeal - a bit !
Is there such a thing as a Brake Disc Condom? To stop me getting GT85 all over my discs n calipers!?
I certainly wouldn't have the word Condom init, Rubber? Johnny's bag of dirty bits? any of those are better! 😆
I've have a getto solution involving an old towel. If it rains during the race you can wipe down the bike with it afterwards too.
As above surely this is pointless on a mountain bike as the chain is the least of my worries when it's covered in mud and manure.
Is there such a thing as a Brake Disc Condom?
showercap from a hotel, or a small plastic bag?
The reality is some poor sod has remortgaged his (and his long suffering wife's) house to devote a lifetime developing a product to answer a question that's never been asked..
Think I'll stick with my £12 bike bag that covers the wheels, the frame, the drivetrain and basically everything except the bars and the seatpost.
i'm sure Rose bikes sell something similar
I've seen bags for the rear wheel and drivetrain. Seemed like a decent idea for transporting in the car. And it didn't have a stupid name 🙄
I've seen drivetrain covers before but TBH having shifted bikes in the back of cars I've never had much of a problem - sling a tarp in the boot, wheels out of the bike, bike in boot, blanket over bike and wheels on top.
I'll confess to using some wheel covers as that seems to be where the biggest amount of shite comes from IMO, rather than the drivetrain.
