I like to run a run a n-gear jump stop on the inside of a single chainring but my new frame is carbon, and the n-gear won't fit the flared seattube. I can't run a BB mounted catcher either as it runs a pressfit BB.
So I could do with a chain catcher/guard that will fit onto a direct-mount bracket (where the front mech usually sits).
Maybe something like this (but cheaper)

Use a direct mount front mech as a guide?
also now found a MRP and a Paul Components so may pick one of those. Shame there isn't a cheap ebay mod available.
Is it a high mount.....err mount. I've got a lightly used mrp 1x guide you can have for £25 posted if you want.[img]
