Finally had enough of the piles of CD's. I've heard good and bad about music magpie, so are they the best or are there better options around?
there's a thought! I've got boxes and boxes of em in the attic, buy rip stash in attic, bit superfluous now, maybe I should have a clearout
Have used MM quite a few times for some quite frankly staggeringly bad CDs/DVDs/games
Their valuations are mostly rock-bottom but now and then there's a little surprise in amongst all the tat. The app saves a lot of time scanning stuff in and they pay up quickly just take care they don't claim too many items are incomplete or incorrectly described
I used MM to sell mine, the App made it pretty easy, just laborious (I had about 450 CDs). As long as you can remove the emotional attachment to the CDs and accept how much you've lost on them it's a no brainer, their price is only going to deteriorate.
If you're bothered by such things, their 'process' means it takes AGES for the money to come through.
Also, I was expecting that a fair percentage of what I sent would get rejected due to their condition T's & C's, but to be fair I got exactly what they quoted. Eventually.
