Bit vague, and I can't find any proper articles about it yet. Seems a bit weird. Didn't already happen and I completely missed it did I?

It says:

London Olympics if, as expected, the two are united under the Team Sky banner in 2012.

So guess its still not totally official

How is this a told you so? It's not confirmed, it is just more speculation.
He may very well have signed for Sky, but this no more confirms it than any previous article on the matter.

He's not signed anything yet, he's waiting until after Sunday and the potential pot of gold at the end of the 'rainbow'

To be fair, Wiggins has been quoted recently as saying something along the lines of, he's not sure where Sky's focus will be next year - they may just concentrate on Cav getting the green jersey. Give away or double bluffing ๐Ÿ™‚

Could be because of Cav, or maybe he realises other riders in the Sky line up have more potential in the grand tours than him. Especially if he is aiming for the Olympics.

I was chatting to a sky soigneur at the Vuelta who didn't seem to honestly have a clue what was going on. I'm with 100mphplus - the smart thing to do is to wait until after the world champs when he may (or may not) be able to command a higher fee.

Oh and Brad is clearly talking about British Cycling plans and not Team Sky plans (although where the line is with that I don't know - was thinking do team sky try and knacker foreign riders in the team with the intention of reducing their olympic chances?)

I have to say I have always hoped he wasn't headed Sky-wards and was sceptical with the usual reason of it not seeming to fit with Sky's big picture. However my faith wavered somewhat at ToB where Cav seemed to be riding with the blue and blacks almost as much as the white, yellow, green and blacks. Plus there were a very large number of Cav pics in the Team Sky site Gallery.

I don't like him and don't want him in Sky but so what and good luck to him. I really do wonder how many wins he'll be converting now he'll be riding against Greipel/Goss/Renshaw etc, rather than with them (and yes I do know Greipel wasn't with him this year).

The question is, if it isn't Sky where will he be going?

I'm guessing you never watched the final stage of the Tour of Britain then? ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

The deal was done weeks ago and not published, what happened there?
I'm with pjt201 and an announcement after the world champs.
