In the last km or so today Cav took quite a tumble in the tour of Qatar. Seems he clipped the wheel of another bike. It took him a while to get up but he managed to get back on the bike and complete the stage. At least no one else was involved.

Blimey - I didn't think people would get worked up about this tour!

Look on the brightside - now you can look out for it and not miss it!

Wouldn't normally watch it, but its Cav's first ride for sky so interested to see how the team performs, particularly in th elead-out.

Plus its cold out, so an excuse to stay in the warm!

EuroSport 2, live between 12 and 1pm (which is when it finishes).
And a few highlights at some point later today.

Today was the last stage though.

We have just come back from watching the stage on the Corniche but werent close enough to the finish to see the crash. Great atmosphere and no crowds, my kids collected 3 water bottles- no-one was even interested in picking them up!

There's a crash in a Qatar sprint? Hardly needs a spoiler warning...

They left it really late didn't they.
When Farrar kicked, Demare was almost over the line!

Kluge was all over the place.

Unfortunately you've missed most of it unless Eurosport do a whole tour wrap up type programme. Cav has performed very well, 2 stage wins, I think he'll be happy with that. As for the team, they didn't seem to be concentrating on giving him a lead out, or looking after him particularly, evident when his usual bodyguard Bernie Eisel was in the front group after a split, and he and Flecha were helping drive it along. I got the impression that Sky planned to let him do his own thing in this race though, so I don't think it's a reflection on the team not working well, or not providing a lead out.
