Can't find too much written about the Carrera Titan Carbon, has anyone used it/ridden it in anger? seems reasonable for the money, and is being sold at 20% off at the moment. A contender to the Boardman Pro with that discount?
I bought one last year through missues cycle to work scheme.
Have to say it was very well put together. Nice components, frame build quality was excellent and looked very bling.I think Merida make the frame?
However I found it very harsh to ride especially on hard rutted surfaces. It was all over the place and not very comfortable. Forks were Bombers and didn't find them very smooth or plush.
I think this years model has upgrade to Elixir brakes, ritchey stem etc, so value for money is excellent.
Sold mine for 850 only a couple of months ago so hold value.
Would I buy another, probably not, but then again depends what you want to do with it.
