Just back from a top weekend's riding with Italspark and Aviemoron.
The latter showed us some super natural trails that are jealously guarded by the local locals on Saturday. With perhaps my autism nav rather than a GPS I might remember the for the future.
Italspark and I revisited the Ord Ban in the afternoon for the first time since the Grundig World Cup Race in '89, we also had a cheeky late afternoon descent of the Lairig Ghru.
Today, the weather gods smiled and we rode the Carn Ban Mor loop. All went well until I raised my saddle within sight ot the bottom, and I went over the bars. I thought I'd need the full Van Gogh bandage to get me home. Luckily I still have teeth, but I'm now sporting a chin Desperate Dan would be proud of 😕

Pic not as bad as the description though, I expected to see jawbone or underside-of-tongue-through-gaping-hole-other-than-mouth or something. Looks perfect conditions too.

Carn Ban Mor ........now there is a proper mountain bike ride. Absolutely epic descent, awesome.
