I'm just a little worried. Thought please....
Never bothered me, if they can take an Elite rider sprinting at 2500 Watts on them, they can take a bit of lateral movement on a bike rack.
Do you worry about aluminium bikes too?
I think aluminium is at the most risk of being crushed. I speak as someone who used to own one of those old Kleins. You could feel it flexing under your fingers!
ok, ok, good call Footy!
I was thinking more about the clamp squashing.
Ok, point taken..
you'll crush any thin walled frame if you are not careful. CF probably has the most elastic response tbh and will tolerate a bit of squeeze but still pop back.
Just be careful.
I was worried when I got my C456 and picked up a front fork mount rack instead but tbh looking back I didn't need to worry. It's tough as old boots but it's not a thin road frame.
I've had my Canyon Aeroad on a friends a couple of times. No problems at all
